In my natural habitat

About

One of my superpowers is using data to craft consistent, coherent, effective messaging across features and products, from tiny error strings to complex feature additions to large-scale innovation for net-new ventures. Data is dreamy—I’m a total UX research fangirl, and I lean heavily on research insights whenever possible. The best part of my job is figuring out what people actually need to know, then delivering that information in the most intuitive possible way. And of course the ultimate win is seeing the metrics move as a result.

Random personal facts:

I'm originally from a petrochemical refinery town in southeast Texas. (Port Arthur, have you heard of it?) I was a certified hypnotherapist for years. One time I edited a magazine that employed Mojo Nixon as the advice columnist. My favorite karaoke song is "It's the End of the World as We Know It (and I Feel Fine)." I reluctantly adopted two tyrannical chihuahua-mix dogs during quarantine and they’ve gotten pretty good at doing office hours with me.

Seattle, Washington, is home right now, but I’d love to relocate to New York.
